Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Team Lead (3rd Shift). \n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $21.77 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am. \nThis position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Assembly Team Leader is responsible for overseeing personnel, production flow, and assembly operations. This role ensures customer requirements are met through efficient scheduling, resource management, and adherence to standard work processes. The Team Lead will communicate activities across shifts to maintain smooth operational handoffs.\n\n * Lead and direct assembly team activities, ensuring products are built safely, accurately, and efficiently.\n * Plan and coordinate schedules, task assignments, and resources to meet production, quality, and delivery targets.\n * Ensure team members follow all assembly procedures, quality standards, safety protocols, and proper use of PPE.\n * Train new and existing team members on procedures, quality expectations, and safety requirements; provide ongoing coaching and development.\n * Maintain a safe, organized workspace by sustaining 5S+ standards and ensuring compliance with all EHS guidelines.\n * Manage inventory accuracy, including storage practices, transactions, and identification/disposal of excess or obsolete materials.\n * Address production issues, perform root\u2011cause analysis, and implement improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency.\n * Coordinate with other departments and shift leaders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.\n * Respond to changing conditions such as material shortages, staffing adjustments, or schedule changes with sound judgment.\n * Report production metrics and operational updates to supervisors or managers.\n * Use lift\u2011assist devices or partner lifts when handling materials; ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. \n\u2022 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment\n\nPreferred qualifications: \n\n * 1 year of experience leading or supervising people.\n * Strong leadership and communication skills.\n * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\u2011paced environment.\n * Technical knowledge of assembly line processes and operations.\n\n\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
