Job Summary:

The Team Lead Supply Chain Operations leads associates in accomplishing daily work activities. Responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of all sections in SCO to include but not limited to receiving, par and requisition fulfillment, linen and equipment, inventory control and internal deliveries. Responsible for working with the Supervisor to ensure the training off all teammates in Supply Chain Operation standards of work and functions.

Job Description:

  • Schedules and monitors the daily activities of unit. 
  • Provides training to Supply Chain operations employees in each section, ensuring that current written policies and procedures are observed, and high productivity is achieved.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of the areas of Supply Chain Operations by shift and sections.
  • Works as Lead and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the department.
  • Responsible for training and competency documentation (when, where how) of task along with performing quality control checks and documenting and communication of results to staff throughout Supply Chain Operations, ensuring that all work is performed correctly.
  • Assists with appraisals and employee discussion planners. Informs SCO supervisor issues/concerns regarding a teammate. 
  • Reviews quality and quantity of work as required by section and documents results of associates assigned to the shift, ensuring quality work is being accomplished.
  • Coordinates equipment and supply requests between all St. Elizabeth campuses during the shift, ensuring there are enough supplies to meet the needs of all departments on and off campus.
  • Communicates supply or equipment problems promptly and ensure equipment needs are met throughout all campuses. 
  • Assists with Supervisor to address questions or concerns from nursing and medical staff and ensures communication about supply problems are handled promptly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

  • High school diploma.

Specialized knowledge:

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer knowledge with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software i.e. People Soft, Workday, Lawson.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of data analytics entry and use.

Kind and length of experience:

  • 2 years previous years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations.

Non-Exempt
