Team Lead – Turbochargers

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay Range: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour (based on experience)
Bonus: Annual Performance Bonus
Direct Reports: minimum of 4
Travel: Up to 25%
Language: Bilingual in English & Spanish is a big plus

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Team Lead – Turbochargers and take charge of delivering top-tier turbocharger solutions in a fast-paced workshop environment. You'll oversee quality, productivity, and technical performance, while mentoring a skilled team and driving continuous improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead workshop operations focused on turbocharger systems, ensuring high standards in quality and efficiency 
• Supervise a minimum of 4 technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews 
• Oversee workshop cleanliness, tooling, and maintenance procedures 
• Maintain records, measurements, and ensure accurate reporting for clean, on-time billing 
• Drive continuous improvement in workflow, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction 
• Train and develop technicians through structured learning and cross-training 
• Provide updates to internal stakeholders and support customer experience
   

What You Bring

• 8–10 years of experience in turbochargers, engine systems, or related mechanical engineering industries 
• Mechanical certification from a trade school, military training, or associate degree 
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, in metric and standard units 
• Experience with welding, brazing, and hydraulic components 
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems 
• Leadership mindset, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities 
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a huge plus
   

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs 
• Comfortable with standing, kneeling, and working in tight spaces 
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
