New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.

 As a Team Leader - Children's Community Action Team (Licensed) your responsibilities will include:

• Assists in the overall direction for the Children's Community Action Team.
• Assures the quality of services provided within the Recovery Continuum.
• Assures that all program staff are qualified to perform their assigned duties.
• Initiate and maintain relationships in coordination with other staff with law-enforcement and other human-services agencies, and with informal community resources.
• Provides Coordination, Assessment, and meets Productivity.

Requirements

New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in a Human Services field and a current Florida license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology.
• Experience working with a severely and persistently mentally ill population and two (2) years or equivalent experience working with children and/or adults experiencing serious mental disturbances.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years.
