Team Leader – Landscape Install
Location: Southeast Region
Reports To: Landscape Install Division Leader
Supervises: Landscape Install Crew Members
Overview:
At Outdoor Living Southeast, we transform outdoor spaces into inspiring, functional environments. As a Team Leader in our Landscape Install division, you’ll lead by example on-site—working alongside crew members while managing the day-to-day execution of projects. You’ll ensure high-quality work, keep projects on schedule, and foster a positive, productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a crew of 2–6 landscape installers on project sites
- Coordinate daily work activities based on project plans, materials, and timelines
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and proper use of tools and materials
- Communicate regularly with the Division Leader about project status and crew performance
- Train new team members and help develop their skills
- Assist in hands-on labor as needed (e.g., turf installation, land grading, mulch, etc.)
- Identify and proactively resolve minor issues on-site to keep the job moving forward
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and ensure completion of all tasks as outlined
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction (leadership experience a plus)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and follow landscape plans/schematics is a plus
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weather conditions
