Team member Closer

Job Title: Front of House Closer 

Shift: Approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 

Position Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Front of House Closer to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized café environment. This role is responsible for assisting customers, preparing beverages, restocking, and completing closing duties to ensure the shop is ready for the next day. Weekends required.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Greet customers and assist with placing orders in a welcoming and efficient manner  
• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks  
• Portion and package coffee accurately  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and front counter area  
• Wash dishes and keep dish area clean and organized  
• Stock shelves, displays, and service areas as needed    
• Follow and complete daily closing checklist  
• Ensure all front of house areas are cleaned, stocked, and reset for the next shift  
• Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude during service  

•  Previous customer service or café experience preferred (but not required)  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment  
• Attention to cleanliness and detail  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs  

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience making espresso-based drinks  
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation  
• Comfortable handling cash and POS systems
