At Northrop Grumman, you will have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems is creating a next\u2011generation PLM platform that will enable digital transformation across engineering, manufacturing, model\u2011based engineering, and additive manufacturing. The Mission PLM Infrastructure Team is seeking a Teamcenter Systems Administrator to design, deploy, and sustain production, test, and development Teamcenter environments. This role will report to the Mission PLM Infrastructure Lead and will partner with Enterprise Services/IT, application support, and engineering program teams. This is a full-time remote position. Please note that the selected candidate will be required to work one Sunday/month to support critical production incidents.\n\nJob responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:\n\n * Architecture \u0026 Deployment \u2013 Install, upgrade, and configure key Teamcenter components (web tier/pool manager, enterprise tier, FMS/FSC, security services, dispatcher, Rich Client, Active Workspace, and integrations with ECAD/MCAD/MBSE tools).\n\n * Patch \u0026 Release Management \u2013 Apply application patches and manage version upgrades across all environments.\n\n * After\u2011Hours Support \u2013 Participate in on\u2011call rotation for urgent production issues and schedule system changes outside of regular business hours when needed.\n\n * Capacity Planning \u2013 Provide recommendations on sizing and scaling of Teamcenter servers, cache, translation, and database tiers.\n\n * Performance Testing \u2013 Execute integrity and performance tests; tune FMS/FSC, pool managers, web, and translation servers for optimal scalability.\n\n * Incident Resolution \u2013 Act as Teamcenter subject\u2011matter expert to troubleshoot systemic production problems; lead root\u2011cause analysis and corrective\u2011action implementation.\n\n * Monitoring \u0026 Automation \u2013 Create scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and configure monitoring tools to ensure services and scheduled jobs run correctly.\n\n * Administrative Tasks \u2013 Manage user access, remove process \u0026 data locks, and perform routine systems administrator duties.\n\n * Documentation \u0026 DR \u2013 Develop runbooks, SOPs, and configuration documentation; support disaster\u2011recovery exercises.\n\n * Communication \u2013 Clearly articulate technical solutions in written and verbal formats and present to both technical and non\u2011technical audiences.\n\n * Continuous Improvement \u2013 Identify and implement enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and scalability of the MPLM environment.\n\n\n\n\nThis position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3, based on the qualifications outlined below.\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Level 2:\n\n * B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate\u0027s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Level 3:\n\n * B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate\u0027s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Levels 2 and 3:\n\n * 1-2 years of hands\u2011on experience with Teamcenter system architecture, installation, and administration (production, test, dev).\n\n * Windows Server administration experience.\n\n * Experience with Apache, JBoss (or equivalent), and SOLR indexing engine (or similar).\n\n * Strong problem\u2011solving skills and the ability to perform root\u2011cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical teams.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Siemens Teamcenter Administration, ITIL Foundation, or CompTIA Security+ certification.\n\n * Expert\u2011level experience in IT operations and maintenance for large\u2011scale infrastructure.\n\n * Knowledge of the Teamcenter data model, customizations, workflow development, and bulk data import.\n\n * Experience installing and configuring Teamcenter add\u2011ons such as Active Workspace, Teamcenter Manufacturing, Shop Floor Connect, Single Sign\u2011On, Performance Monitoring, and Automated Multi\u2011User Testing.\n\n * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Teamcenter (TFS, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).\n\n * Working knowledge of Oracle or comparable RDBMS.\n\n * RHEL Linux /CentOS server administration.\n\n * Prior exposure to Siemens products, customers, and processes.\n\n * Experience with Windows IIS for web\u2011tier services.\n\n * Background in complex PLM implementations for engineering and manufacturing environments.\n\n * Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies.\n\n\n\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Come join us!\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
