Job Description - Tech Lead



We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to work closely with Coefficient Health and our Tech partners. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in backend development and database architecture, combined with leadership experience and a collaborative mindset. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust backend solutions in C# and .NET Core, managing complex databases, and integrating systems with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in TypeScript and front-end integration workflows, enabling seamless interaction between systems and ensuring a full-stack perspective on solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems using C# and .NET Core
  • Architect and manage relational and non-relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure Cosmos DB
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to generate reports and automate dataflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Interface with third-party APIs and data repositories for seamless data exchange
  • Support front-end integration and workflows using TypeScript
  • Promote best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD
  • Lead sprint planning, manage project timelines, and mentor junior developers
  • Serve as a client-facing technical expert, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and backend application architecture
  • Deep experience with SQL and database platforms: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure Cosmos DB
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations and report generation
  • Experience working with APIs and cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and front-end integration support
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics data interpretation and integration
  • Strong version control skills using Git
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing roles
  • Ability to lead technical projects and guide teams effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Developer role
  • Experience in an agency a huge plus!
  • Familiarity with database performance tuning and maintenance strategies
  • Exposure to cross-platform data integration and marketing automation workflows
