In this position...
This position will be accountable for ensuring the consistent robust cost-effective application of Core Propulsion Electronics components (modules & sensors) across all global programs. Focused on the application and integration of critical emissions sub-systems (modules & sensors hardware, software and calibration) to ensure consistent robust design & sign-off and flawless launch/industrialization to mitigate production quality concerns. This position will primarily directly support the global Propulsion Electronics Applications teams (3x LL6 teams located in UK, US & MEX) and will primarily work together alongside the existing Core Modules Technical Expert and Core Sensors Technical Leader within Propulsion Electronics Hardware.
What you'll do...
You'll have...
Bachelor's in Engineering or related degree.
10 years of engineering experience.
6 years of experience in propulsion modules & sensors.
Even better, you may have...
Master's in Engineering or related degree.
Expertise in the vehicle application of automotive electronic hardware with experience of critical packaging/installation requirements and constraints as well as an understanding of critical system/sub-system/component function and quality.
A team oriented individual able to guide and train other engineers and to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
A passion for optimization of system function and proper confirmation of system function.
Proficiency/User knowledge in D&R tools such as VSEM, FEDE, WERS, etc.
Experience with CAD tools.
Good understanding and working experience with engineering foundation documents: P-Diagram, Boundary Diagram, DFMEA, Robustness Checklists, DVP, SCCAF, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.
Experience of automotive reliability requirements and component selection for vehicle application of automotive electronics hardware.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
