Job Description - Tech Support - IT Technician II

The Technology Support IT Technician II provides customer focused day-to-day technical support and administration for PC workstations and the Citrix environment including installation, optimization and troubleshooting of PC hardware and office automation applications.  This position is part of the Corporate Information Technology Team and it is located at Holiday Inn Club -  Orange Lake Resort, 8505 West Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34747


ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 



  • Imaging /Hardware Builds

  • Remote tickets & escalated tickets

  • Deskside support

  • Application support

  • Traveling support (remote locations) 


REQUIREMENTS:



  • At least 3 years’ experience within the last 4 years in related I.T. position

  • At least 3 years’ experience within the last 4 years with setup, installation, upgrades, security, and administration of PC’s and related network equipment

  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from customers and provide timely resolutions to issues while effectively communicating status to management and customers

  • Proficiency with Microsoft business products and operating systems

  • Working knowledge with HP printers and other peripherals; and proficient with related setup and administration

  • Ability of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver license with no violations in the past 3 years. 

  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.


The schedule for this position is:  Monday and Tuesday = off,  Wednesday - Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm
