We are seeking a dynamic and savvy reporter to join our editorial team covering established and emerging tech and the companies behind those innovations. Coverage areas will include (but not be limited to) startups, FAANG, AI, EVs, VR, social networks, and generally the “business of tech.” The ideal candidate is a skilled journalist with a deep understanding of the tech industry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience. We are looking for a specialist to join the team, not a generalist. You should have an ability to break through the noise and a vision for improving the existing ways of coverage to better serve modern audiences. If you’re known for breaking original news, capturing emerging trends before other people see them, and getting voices in the space on the record saying surprising and illuminating things, we want to talk to you. It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. Please connect with your recruiter for more information regarding our in-office philosophy and expectations. What you’ll do
