Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall customer relationship with inner company plants and the shipping of quality product.

Communication, reporting, input, direction setting, and feedback.

Primary contact for customer plant activity.

Key Accountabilities

Primary support for intercompany identified product issues.
Organize response and direction on product issues related to part function, product risk, and manufacturing knowledge. Problem confirmation and evaluation as presented by manufacturing departments.
Lead evaluation of quality concerns to identify risk related to market, loss, and direct pass.

Theme up and promote root cause and countermeasure activity.
Plant and department reporting of quality concerns, direct pass, etc
Support repairs at the frame plants and railheads

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

A bachelor's degree in relevant field or 6 years of experience
0-6 years' work experience dependent upon education level
Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills.
Able to perform complex containment analysis, able to lead teams, and strong excel skills.
Strong manufacturing knowledge and engine assembly knowledge.

Working Conditions

50% office activity (data analysis, data review, business plan)
40% customer interaction

investigating problems
10% sort activity
5 hour OT per week with needs to work unexpected overtime as issues arise
Travel to frame plant locations (US and International) as required, 2 to 5 times per year
