PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for assisting the Technical Director on the technical side of all projects involving and in working with direct report and Lead Pastors to support all weekly services, ministry events, conferences, special events, campuses and more.
I. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications

Expertise in Audio, Lighting, and Video systems, such as Allen & Heath, Dante, Waves, Behringer, Blackmagic, Canon, Jands, Chamsys
Proficiency in technology and cable termination, such as CAT, SDI, XLR, DMX, and instrument cables
Understanding of electrical circuits and power supply ratings
II. DUTIES:
Service Production
Oversees all AVL systems (audio, video, lighting) for campus services and events, ensuring excellence and reliability in every experience. (including Sunday morning, youth services, or any additional event like funerals, weddings, etc.)
Provides technical leadership for all worship services, midweek gatherings, and ministry events, ensuring all systems are powered on, configured, and operating at peak performance.
Manages the execution of live production elements (sound, visuals, lighting, livestream) with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborates with Technical Director to design, program, and implement stage and system changes, including major redesigns and seasonal updates.
Proactively monitors and maintains AVL equipment, conducting regular system checks, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Responds promptly and professionally to feedback from pastors, leaders, and teams, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in services.
Serves as the point of accountability for all AVL-related issues at the campus.
Ensures all systems are turned off after services and spaces are kept clean and organized
Technical Equipment Upkeep & Installment
Assists in overseeing the maintenance, functionality, and reliability of all AVL equipment across campus spaces.
Conducts routine system checks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation during services and events.
Coordinates and implements new equipment installations, upgrades, and system integrations in partnership with North Production and outside vendors when necessary.
Manages equipment inventory, documentation, and lifecycle planning (repair, replacement, retirement).
Responds to equipment repair or support requests submitted by ministry staff and ensures timely resolution of issues.
Ensures all AVL systems are kept up to date, safe, and aligned with organizational standards across campuses.
Team Recruitment & Development
Recruits, trains, and develops a strong volunteer base to operate AVL systems with skill and confidence.
Creates and maintains structured training and onboarding pathways for volunteers to ensure consistency and excellence in execution.
Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to build confidence, technical skill, and leadership within the volunteer production team.
Cultivates a healthy team culture marked by dependability, collaboration, and spiritual growth.
Schedules all AVL positions for the campus at least one month ahead assisting in backfill when necessary.
Administrative Work
Responsible for carrying out all Basecamp tasks by the given deadline, collaborating with the Creative Team and requester, when necessary.
Assist Technical Director with monitoring budget, ensuring necessary receipts are getting logged in a timely manner
III. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 100 pounds and work on lifts/ladders as needed
Ability to physically move with ease throughout the campus
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
IV. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in leading teams of volunteers
Assist in training volunteers

Tuesday: 9AM-4PM
Wednesday: 9AM-4PM
Thursday: 9:30AM-8:30PM
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: 6AM-2PM
