job summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Business Analyst or similar role to lead initiatives related to software product security. The individual should have prior experience in a software development environment and product security and be able to lead and execute projects and deliver on tasks themselves. They should have experience working in a medical device or health technology company. The candidate could be someone with a strong technical background who is looking to go into a project leader role or someone already in a project lead/delivery lead role. Someone who is a self-starter, ambitious, focused on delivering work and who has ability to influence and lead. This person may be in an early or mid-career point.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of product security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and/or maintain product vulnerability management processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines and provide training to developers on security best practices and awareness.
- Create and implement security risk assessments.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- General project management including, time scheduling, activities and resource planning, quality planning, risk, and communication management.

responsibilities:
- Knowledge of various frameworks/regulations such as ISO 27001.
- Experience with product/information security, working in a large global organization with practical experience in a highly regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of the Security Development Lifecycle, static/dynamic analysis tools, and threat modeling.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple work streams in parallel and adjusting priorities as needed to deliver results against time-sensitive deadlines, showing a high level of independent judgement and proactivity; willing and able to lead individual projects to accelerate results.
- Demonstrated active listening skills to provide feedback, facilitate problem solving, decision making, and issue resolution.
- strong communicator, both verbal and written, with executive presence and the ability to influence across functions and all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor's Degree required, or an equivalent combined experience/education in the areas of: Clinical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
