General Purpose of Job/Summary :
Urban Edge Properties is a NYSE listed real estate investment trust focused on managing, acquiring, developing, and redeveloping retail real estate in urban communities, primarily in the Washington, D.C. to Boston corridor. Urban Edge owns 75 properties totaling 17.2 million square feet of gross leasable area.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Development Manager to join our lean, efficient IT team. This role is instrumental in fostering collaboration between business stakeholders and IT professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive our company's success.
Job Summary :
As the Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in

assessing and analyzing an organization’s current IT platforms capabilities and suggesting solutions to improve the company’s systems and/or processes.
You will be working closely with internal resources and outsourced partners and serving as a liaison between business departments and the IT team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing technical development projects while effectively communicating with both business and IT stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, developing data integration requirements between target and source systems, and driving the successful delivery of projects that align with our strategic objectives.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Chief Information Officer, you will operate out of our New Jersey offices. You will need to be comfortable wearing many hats, straddling a role that can encompass the following responsibilities.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
General
Work with other technical members and business stakeholders.
As project owner, manage technical delivery employee(s)/teams across multiple different partners and third-party providers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support in technical design, development methodologies, and best practices.
Business-IT Alignment:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Serve as a key point of contact for business departments, addressing their technical needs and providing expert advice.
Project Management:
Head implementation teams during upgrade and technology migration projects, liaising with affected departments to ensure usability and functionality
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitating workshops and business case development.
Coordinate our partners’ cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to achieve project goals.
Technical Expertise:
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to developers and product owners, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
Have a sound grasp of integrations and data flow life cycles, as well as cyber security requirements.
Review and analyze existing integrations’ effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
Understand data management and governance practices and be able to apply them to all projects.
Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and status updates to stakeholders at various levels.
Proactively identify and address any potential risks, issues, or conflicts that may impact project success.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years working with business stakeholders.
Strong technical background and good understanding of the software development life cycle and the outputs of each phase. experience in software development languages and frameworks desirable.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, Jira and Microsoft DevOps.
Experience in ERP, CRM, and SaaS application implementation, integrations, API integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Experience with Microsoft Stack including, SQL, SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerFlows and O365
Experience in real estate ERPs, such as MRI or Yardi is preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify innovative solutions to meet business needs.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education/Experience :
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting or a related field.
