Job Title:Systems Support Engineer

Job Purpose:What does a great Systems Support Engineer do for Fiserv?

Youll be responsible for the infrastructure and application stability and security, as well as performance and capacity management as part of production management accountability. Part of your role will be ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients onto one of Fiservs premier rewards platform, end to end environmental guardianship will include Incident, Problem and Change responsibilities, as well as key partnership developments with Application Development, as well as architecture and engineering.

We need someone who will bring global production management experience across multiple technology disciplines (Mainframe, Distributed and on-premise Cloud) to implement best practices to the Production Operations Teams daily routine. In addition, the role demands an automate everything mindset to ensure an optimal, efficient and reliable service provision.

Over all we are looking for a proactive and accountable leader for the day to day operational stability and longer term improvement road-map for the enterprise, partnering with the Application Development leadership and focused on the Customer experience as primary rationale for improvement initiatives.

Qualifications For Consideration:

Bachelors Degree or high school diploma/GED

Minimum of 5 years of related technical and business experience.

Possesses operational knowledge of Mainframe Z series, Distributed Computing, and Cloud Technologies

Has strong knowledge of IT systems, practices and functional units.

Strong knowledge of multiple languages and tools.
