Technical Documentation Manager – Hybrid Role

Trevor Frances Recruitment is looking for a highly organized Technical Documentation Manager to join a growing team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, technical problem-solving, and producing clear, accurate documentation across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain electrical, mechanical, and 3D CAD drawings.

• Develop BOMs, assembly manuals, wiring diagrams, and product data sheets.

• Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and production teams.

• Support 3D printing initiatives and manage BIM/Revit files for architectural or engineering integration.

• Occasionally travel for site inspections and measurements (Toronto, 1–4 times per year).

What We’re Looking For

• Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

• Experience in technical documentation, drafting, or design (5+ years).

• Knowledge of ISO standards, QMS procedures, and PLM tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Experience with 3D printing or BIM/Revit is a plus.
