Technical Expert (CODIS SME)

Position: Technical Expert (CODIS SME)  

Location: Quantico, VA 

Clearance: Active Secret

The CODIS SME must have a strong understanding of CODIS searches: AutoSearcher, Searcher, Batch Searcher, Rapid Search Requests, and Interoperability Services Specimen Search. The CODIS SME must be knowledgeable of how CODIS users interact with the software to manage their data and matches.

Experience in:

• The Popstats Functional Speci?cation document must be maintained and clearly explain all calculations in Popstats.
• The CODIS ConOps must be maintained and clearly explain how operations are impacted by new capabilities.
• The Contractor SMEs must contribute to the creation and review of business user story acceptance test criteria.
• The Contractor SMEs must contribute to the creation of screen mockups and participate in usability review sessions.
• The Contractor SMEs shall support the Government in the event of emergent issues impacting the CODIS program. This support includes creating whitepapers and providing recommendations to the Government to resolve emergent issues.
• The Contractor SMEs shall support the Government by recommending advances in technology and genetic analysis that could bene?t the CODIS program.
• As requested by the Government, the Contractor SMEs must be available to present at the CODIS Conference, CODIS State Administrator Meeting, Scienti?c Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM), or other similar meetings.
