Key Responsibilities\n\nPrepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes, and resources.\n\nLeads the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the 6S Program across Santa Clara Lab Operations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and site\u2011specific operational needs.\n\nManages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.\n\nConducts site-wide 6S audits, develops corrective action plans, and partners with functional owners to ensure timely closure and measurable improvement.\n\nCoordinates allocated resources from within the Division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project. Initiates and manages purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.\n\nCollaborates with cross\u2011functional teams (Manufacturing, Logistics, Facilities, EHS, Quality) to embed 6S principles into daily operations, engineering labs, and cleanroom environments.\n\nDrives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.\n\nParticipates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.\n\nChampions visual management, standard work, floor marking, labeling, and workplace organization to support safety, efficiency, and compliance.\n\nInterfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.\n\nProvides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.\n\nIdentifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.\n\nServes as the program owner for 6S tools and systems (e.g., PowerApps audit tools, SharePoint action trackers), maintaining version control, reporting, and dashboard visibility.\n\nFacilitates Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops that integrate 6S principles to reduce waste, improve flow, and sustain operational gains.\n\nPartners with leadership to ensure 6S behaviors are reinforced through coaching, recognition, and aligned performance expectations.\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field \n * Applies 6S methodology to optimize workplace organization, safety, visual controls, and operational flow across complex manufacturing and lab environments\n * Leverages deep knowledge of 6S audit structures, certification standards, and sustainment systems to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services\n\n\n * Applies 6S principles to evaluate operational gaps, benchmark industry best practices, and recommend standardized organizational and safety improvements across manufacturing and lab environments\n * Uses 6S audit data and trend analysis to inform strategic decisions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational readiness\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity \n\n\n * Leads cross\u2011functional 6S teams through audit cycles, certification readiness, and sustainment activities, ensuring ownership and accountability at all levels\n * Coaches BU key personnel on 6S expectations, visual management adoption, and standardized work practices to build a culture of operational discipline\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions\n\n\n * Leverages 6S methodology to diagnose root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive long\u2011term solutions to organizational, safety, and process\u2011flow issues\n * Uses structured 6S tools (e.g., red\u2011tag analysis, waste identification, visual flow mapping) to develop sustainable improvements in high\u2011complexity environments\n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies\n * Drives measurable improvements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency through consistent application of 6S standards and continuous improvement initiatives\n * Influences site\u2011wide performance by ensuring 6S integration into daily operations, project planning, and readiness for customer or internal audits\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view\n * Uses strong communication and influencing skills to advocate for 6S practices, secure cross\u2011functional buy\u2011in, and align teams toward common organizational goals\n * Facilitates 6S training, workshops, and improvement events that require clear messaging, change\u2011management skills, and the ability to drive behavioral adoption\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * Lean / 6S Certification or formal training; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt strongly preferred\n * PMP or project management certification is a plus\n\n\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n10 - 15 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$154,000.00 - $212,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
