Job Description - Technical Recruiter, Manufacturing Operations

ABOUT THE TEAM

At Anduril, our recruiting team is the driving force behind building a world-class organization. We are passionate, innovative, and deeply committed to finding exceptional talent that fuels our mission. By collaborating with leaders across engineering, operations, and technology, we shape and execute hiring strategies that are as dynamic and forward-thinking as the company itself. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment, setting the standard for excellence, creativity, and strategic talent acquisition—ensuring that every new hire contributes to Anduril's continued success.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Production Recruiter on our team, you are more than just a talent partner; you are a critical member of the business, embedded directly within the Divisions that are scaling Anduril's manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production operations capabilities. Your mission is to own the end-to-end hiring process for the production teams you support, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and a master of your craft in one of the most competitive and specialized talent markets in defense technology.

Production recruiting at Anduril is not like hiring software engineers. You are recruiting in markets where the best talent is employed at defense primes, working in cleared facilities, often not on LinkedIn, and making career decisions based on mission impact, site location, shift flexibility, and long-term program stability. Success in this role requires a differentiated sourcing approach, deep understanding of production org structures, and the ability to sell a high-growth defense technology environment to candidates who have spent decades at established primes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own and drive hiring strategy full-cycle, providing effective, clear communication and reporting

  • Conduct a high volume of interviews, demonstrating ability to anticipate and influence hiring manager preferences through successful interview-to-offer conversion ratios

  • Engage and source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referrals and SOBO campaigns

  • Build trust through consistency and a strong operating rhythm in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to help scale and manage company growth

  • Drive diverse talent into the organization ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint

  • Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally at the highest caliber

  • Leverage internal resources, team mates, and cross functional partners to build strategy around selling our value proposition and impacting hiring practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of high-volume talent acquisition experience, with meaningful exposure to production or manufacturing operations hiring

  • 3+ years of experience working with hiring managers, reporting on progress, creating and advising on talent strategies

  • Experience managing various high-volume pipelines of candidates both exempt and non-exempt, while keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process

  • Ability to be onsite/hybrid at Costa Mesa, CA office

  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency and bias for action — production hiring is tied to contract milestones, site launches, and revenue timelines that don't wait

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices

  • Direct experience recruiting for manufacturing, production operations, supply chain, or quality roles in defense, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or advanced manufacturing industries

  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes and positive candidate experiences

  • Familiarity with production org structures and title progressions (Technician → Lead → Supervisor → Manager → Director → VP/Head of Production)

  • Experience recruiting for new site launches, manufacturing ramps, or greenfield production facilities

  • Self-sufficient and are able to work with little direct supervision

  • Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization

  • Highly autonomous, collaborative, and adaptable
