Job Description - Technical Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer needs and innovative technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with our R&D team to provide expert consultations, tailored equipment recommendations, and technical support. This includes interpreting customer requirements, designing layouts, preparing proposals, and ensuring seamless coordination with R&D and sales teams. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused solutions will help drive adoption of our next-generation kitchen technologies 

Requirements

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the R&D and sales teams to identify customer needs and propose tailored equipment solutions.
  • Provide technical consultations, product demonstrations, and presentations to clients.
  • Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including layout design and equipment selection.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and bid responses.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, installation requirements, and maintenance guidelines.
  • Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure customized solutions meet customer expectations.
  • Collect feedback from customers and provide input for product improvement.
  • Support project tracking and coordination to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., refrigerators, ice machines, ovens) and a basic understanding of their working principles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Basic proficiency in technical drawing (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software)
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • BA Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
