Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to provide technical expertise and support in the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling

- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients

- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical expertise and support in the sales process

- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and bids to clients

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential sales opportunities

- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services

- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress to the management team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction industry

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of structural engineering and construction processes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to travel for business purposes

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
