Job Summary
Syncell is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive the commercial adoption of the Microscoop® Platform across the Northeast United States. This field-based role combines scientific knowledge with consultative sales expertise to develop new business, build strategic customer relationships, and grow market presence within the life sciences and spatial biology research community. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific background, experience selling capital equipment or life science technologies, and a passion for advancing scientific discovery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, territory planning, and accurate forecasting.
- Understand customer research goals and position Syncell solutions to address scientific and business needs.
- Conduct technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing consultative guidance throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with Field Applications Scientists and technical support teams to ensure customer success.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), research institutions, and strategic accounts.
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales activity updates.
- Represent Syncell at conferences, scientific meetings, and industry events.
- Promote customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships through exceptional service and follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 4 years of successful technical or consultative sales experience.
- Experience selling capital equipment, laboratory instrumentation, or life science technologies.
- Strong understanding of life science research workflows and customer applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close new business.
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Background in molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, mass spectrometry, tissue biology, histology, or spatial biology.
- Experience working with biotechnology research organizations, academic institutions, or pharmaceutical customers.
- Existing relationships with researchers, laboratories, and Key Opinion Leaders within the Northeast territory.
- Experience introducing new technologies into emerging scientific markets.

- Full-time, field-based position covering the Northeast United States.
