As we continue to expand our digital offerings, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist who will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our digital twin solutions within the Oil & gas or Metals Mining industry. The successful candidate will leverage their deep commercial knowledge of the sector to identify and cultivate key accounts, primarily located in Texas and the southern United States, while also exploring opportunities in the energy and utilities industries. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target key accounts in the Oil & gas or Metals Mining industry, with a focus on Texas and the southern United States. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a key account manager to ensure their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, understanding their pain points, and presenting tailored digital twin solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical and commercial support to clients throughout the sales process. Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets. 50-60% Travel (Domestic & International - including Canada Brazil and Mexico) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in digital solutions sales, with a strong track record of success in selling complex solutions to the Oil & gas or Metals Mining industry and identifying, acquiring, and growing new accounts in a competitive environment 2+ years of experience with industrial machinery – Turbomachinery & static machines with a good understanding on sensing systems and industrial cloud. 2+ years of experience working with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS & on-prem business models Preferred Qualifications: MBA Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for exceeding sales targets. Networked and accustomed to engaging directly on a CxO level Familiarity with the energy and utilities industries Understanding of cloud environment, knowledge on SAP , S/4 Hana would be a plus Trusted advisor Synchronization required with emerging technology that may serve the template development needs. Experience working with technology companies in the target industries Experience on engineering program management process Expertise to guide and monitor instrumentation & automation engineers within your projects Project Management know how Ability to provide technical advice to the team to develop and successfully implement data pipelines that will meet customer’s needs. Desire to drive pre-sales activities include analyzing customer’s technical needs and suggesting solutions. Desire to drive post-sales activities include resolving implementation problems and conducting user training. Develop and deliver training to educate customers on IT-OT integration Knowledge on HP Edge line servers, Azure data box The U.S. base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $155,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
