Technical Service Engineer

Description

 Eastern Metal Framing seeks a motivated, dynamic professional to work as our   Technical Services Engineer.

Responsibilities:

· Provide size and gauge and engineering solutions to customers. 

· Coordinate engineering services, including maintaining relationships with engineering firms, quoting engineering, tracking engineering sales and ensuring jobs are billed

· Spearhead company activity in CFSEI

· Participate in trade shows.

· Coordinate product testing for sound, fire, limiting heights, etc. 

· Verify technical data, including structural properties, load tables and limiting heights for all products. 

· Verify compliance with current building codes.

· Participate in product development. 

Qualifications:

· Strong understanding of company products, specifications and building practices

· Comprehensive understanding of competitive products

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a PE License

· Engineering experience with cold formed steel

· Knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations. 

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Extraordinary customer service skills
