Controlled Environmental Regulatory Testing Services (CERTS), a Hodess Company is a full-service testing and certification company focused on providing today's cleanroom professionals with the support needed to regulate and maintain a stable, productive cleanroom.

The CERTS team knows the importance of keeping your cleanroom in compliance, that is why all of our customers are treated like partners.

CERTS technicians are NSF, CNBT, IEST and CETA trained to meet the stringent needs of customers’ cleanrooms and clean equipment. CERTS invests in the most current, state-of-the-art testing equipment to provide the most accurate and efficient testing available. 

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Technician Position is to conduct testing and certification as well as technical support for cleanrooms and clean equipment. They should be able to operate all equipment used in the field with accuracy and due competence.

General Responsibilities:

  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently in cleanroom and laboratory environments.
  • Adheres to and promotes all company goals and objectives.
  • Accountable for abiding by all safety documentation and records. Communicates safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with the other technicians, supervisors, and managers.
  • Complete training program for safety, CPR and fall protection sponsored by CERTS.

Technical Skills: 

  • Excellent with measuring tools and detailed record keeping.
  • Proper use of ladders, tools, and equipment for balancing and certifying clean spaces and equipment.
  • Read and interpret work orders.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to innovative technology and readily acquiring new technical skills. 
  • Arrive at the job on time and ready to work. 

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of tools and equipment experience, balancing and certification experience preferred.
  • Read and understand work orders, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently, work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary.
  • Salary is commensurate with education, years of experience, and market.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of architectural design and planning principles and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to read schematics work orders, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Technical knowledge of clean space components and their function.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with various constituencies.
  • Skills in workflow analysis and management.
  • Must be flexible for overnight, out of town and weekend work.
