Job Description - Technical Services Scheduler

The Technical Services Scheduler (TSS) receives requests for repairs and commissioning of Rexa equipment, and schedules all field service repairs. The incumbent works with the Service Manager to coordinate the activities of the Service Department and maximize Service Technician utilization and serves as the information liaison between the Service Manager, Service Technicians, REXA Sales Managers, and customers; providing regular updates to customers regarding services that are in progress. The TSS enters scheduled service orders in the ERP system and facilitates them on the scheduling calendar.  They will open tickets in the CRM and troubleshoot issues ranging from calibration problems to application troubleshooting.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Open work orders in ERP system for scheduled service visits. Create corresponding electronic folders.

  • Setup new customers, add new ship-to addresses.

  • Communicate with REXA account manager during service scheduling.

  • Review scope of the job and site safety elements with REXA team members and customer.

  • Create service estimates, consult with REXA account manager for approval before quoting the customer.

  • Maintain service schedule on electronic calendar.

  • Place and manage service purchase orders.

  • Answer incoming emails, voice mails and phone calls for basic level technical support.

  • Offer service solutions.



Requirements:



  • Associate Degree

  • A least 5 years’ experience working in a scheduling environment; preferably in service function.

  • At least 3 years in a traveling field technician role, working on PLCs, Valve Automation, diagnosing, maintaining, fixing, and training equipment on use of such equipment in the field.

  • Ability to diagnose various electronic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to component level in-person and ability to explain such steps over the phone with a customer.

  • Solid knowledge of computer databases, MS Office, ERP and CRM.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.

  • Good verbal and written communication

  • Strong time management skills and sense of urgency.


Working conditions:


Office environment with some exposure to manufacturing activity.  No strenuous physical work.  Strict compliance with company safety policies.  Occasional travel may be required.
