Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical SETA with Battery Research experience to provide direct support to a Program Manager (PM), focusing on technical project management and execution. The successful candidate will assess technical and programmatic risks, track performer progress, project outcomes, and ensure that project management best practices are applied across agency funded performers, independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities.  Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.

Work Location: On-site: Ballston, VA.

Required Experience:

• Education: PhD in Battery Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field, OR Master’s degree + 3 years relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience.
• Prior research experience in battery chemistry and materials.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Experience:

• Knowledge of materials, chemical interactions, design considerations, and material lifetime challenges relevant to batteries.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical domains and gain insights into next-generation research topics.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to quick turnarounds.
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• TS/SCI Clearance.
