Technical SMEs: Pyrotechnics & Weapons Role Players

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking technical subject-matter experts in pyrotechnics and weapons to support NSW field training in Southern California. These SMEs provide specialized effects and weapons expertise that enhance realism and safety during SOF training scenarios. No clearance is required; candidates must bring proven technical expertise and, for pyrotechnics, the ability to furnish required effects packages.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

• Pyrotechnics SME (VII): provide and safely employ pyrotechnic effects (furnish package of 6 IED, 6 PRG, 6 IDF, smoke effect)
• Weapons Expert (VIII): provide weapons expertise supporting role player requirements
• Both: follow on-site safety/ORM procedures; support scenario execution
• Travel to and perform at CA ranges per task order

• Demonstrated pyrotechnics (VII) or weapons (VIII) subject-matter expertise
• Ability to operate safely per NSW high-risk training standards
• No clearance required
• Cat VII must be able to furnish the contractor pyrotechnics package (6 IED, 6 PRG, 6 IDF, smoke)
• Able to travel to CA ranges; protect CUI

Desired

• Military EOD/ordnance/armorer background
• Prior training-support or range experience
• Relevant pyrotechnic/weapons certifications and licenses
