The Opportunity

As a Technical Support & Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert helping dental professionals and our sales team troubleshoot, problem-solve, and succeed with our products. You’ll combine your technical know-how with exceptional communication skills to deliver a world-class support experience — one that’s as professional and precise as the products we build.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for customers and sales reps via phone and email, resolving technical issues with Trusted Dental’s products.
   
• Troubleshoot mechanical, optical, and (occasionally) electrical systems — guiding customers with patience and clarity.
   
• Create an excellent customer experience every time — even when equipment isn’t working as expected.
   
• Support order management, product returns, and service requests through our internal systems.
   
• Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify root causes and develop solutions that prevent future issues.
   
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions, repairs, and service actions.
   
• Stay up to date on product updates, new releases, and troubleshooting techniques.
   

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
   
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service, help desk, or technical support role.
   
• Strong computer literacy — including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with ERP or MRP systems.
   
• Excellent communication skills — clear, calm, and professional on phone and email.
   
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
   
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new products, systems, and technologies.
   
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to helping others succeed.
   

Bonus Points For

• Experience supporting mechanical or optical equipment (microscopes, imaging systems, or precision instruments).
   
• Understanding of basic optical or electrical concepts.
   
• Previous experience in the dental, surgical, or medical device industry.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily a desk-based role with computer and phone use.
   
• Occasional movement around the production area for troubleshooting or collaboration.
   
• Light lifting (under 20 lbs) as needed.
