## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nThe Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nThe candidate will be part of the Lam CSBG, as an IT engineer of the Fab Integrated Technology Services (FITS) team, responsible for global and regional fab IT and Security technology delivery, deployment and operation. The FITS team is a group of talented IT professionals with diverse skillsets \u0026 experiences, lending to many learning opportunities from working cross functional with other Lam departments (Product, Customer Services, Operation etc.), and will be interfacing with Lam customers at fab sites. The IT engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to deploy and support Lam Advance Services products infrastructure at Lam customer Fabs or Lam regional offices, from early in product development to high volume deployment. The IT engineer will be the technical liaison between Lam stakeholders (account team, engineering, productivity, product management) and customer IT teams as needed.\n\n## What you\u0027ll do\n\n * Work with cross-functional teams and vendors\n * Build, manage and support networking devices, servers and other tools\n * Configure, install, and support applications\n * Maintain architecture diagrams, define processes and procedures\n * Act as top-tier escalation for complex issues, lead RCA and long-term fixes\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; or 3 years and a Master\u2019s degree; or a PhD without experience; Information Technology or equivalent work experience\n * Intermediate level knowledge of product/services capabilities, system interdependencies/data flow, and techinical tools for troubleshooting intermediate to advanced level customer technical questions and incidents\n * This position requires travel up to 25% domestic and international\n\n\n\n## Preferred working experiences\n\n * Worked in a Fab environment or familiar with Semiconductor industry\n * Mandarin speaking a plus \n * Some hands on experience with Cisco switches\n * Some hands on experience with different servers/HW types\n * Understand and have effectively administered systems with PowerShell\n * Extensive experience working with Hyper-V\n * Troubleshoot Linux OS and the ability to provide solutions\n * Administered Antimalware/Antivirus systems\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
