Job Description - Technical Support Engineer, Emerging Tech Services
Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their Emerging Tech Services team. This role involves providing technical support for Amazon's distributed network across North America and Europe, with a focus on maximizing the performance of advanced robotics systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with experience in technical customer support and knowledge of relational database management systems. The position requires working on a flexible schedule from 3 PM to 1 AM EST, Wednesday through Saturday, for 10 hours a day and 4 days a week. The Technical Support Engineer will develop metrics, tools, and procedures to monitor system performance, proactively detect and resolve issues, and implement preventive measures. Strong problem -solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and experience with networking and IT are essential for success in this role. The position is open to candidates in multiple locations, including Austin, TX, Boston, MA, Quincy, MA, and Seattle, WA, with a compensation range based on geographic markets.
