About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, onshore Technical Writer with functional expertise in warehousing or logistics to develop comprehensive documentation for our enterprise software suite.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical functionality and practical operations—capable of translating complex software features into compelling presales collateral, detailed implementation references for internal technical teams, and clear, step-by-step user manuals for warehouse floor personnel.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

• Presales Documentation ("What Does Our Software Support"):
  
  
  
  • Author high-level, business-focused documentation highlighting core capabilities, features, and business value for non-technical prospects and executive stakeholders.
  
  
  
  


• Internal Technical & Configuration Guide ("How Does Our Software Support"):
  
  
  
  • Create in-depth technical documentation tailored for internal product, engineering, and project implementation teams detailing system architecture, configuration settings, integration workflows, and best practices.
  
  
  
  


• Client User Manuals & SOPs:
  
  
  
  • Develop clear, task-oriented end-user manuals and operating guides specifically designed for client warehouse operations and floor teams.
  
  
  
  


• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  
  
  • Partner closely with product managers, developers, project leads, and domain experts during local business hours to gather requirements and validate system workflows.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience documenting solutions within Warehousing, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply Chain Execution, or Logistics.


• Audience Adaptability: Proven track record of tailoring documentation across diverse target audiences—from commercial/presales stakeholders to internal software engineers and frontline warehouse staff.


• Technical Writing Acumen: Strong background producing structured software manuals, configuration guides, release notes, and product overviews.


• Communication & Alignment: Strong interview, synthesis, and writing skills with the ability to operate seamlessly across overlapping business hours with local engineering and management teams.
