Technical Writer - Urgent Role

Signify Health is currently seeking a Technical Writer / Communications Manager to join our IT group. We are looking for someone with previous experience that can contribute quickly. This role will have the responsibility to lead our communications and knowledge management strategies. This position will work with various IT, product, development and business teams across the organization to deliver solutions and serve as the knowledge management and communications owner for the organization.

This position reports into the VP, Head of IT.

What will you do?

• Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with the leadership team
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization as well as external communications
• Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
• Manage our knowledge management process and establish standards and templates as well as produce content as needed
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums
• Create presentations for organizational events, such as the organization's All Hands Meeting
• Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
• Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
• Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face to face or through regular written communication

We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with IT communications and with writing technical documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively upward and across the organization, using appropriate business language to provide timely information to appropriate parties as needed
• Experience with multiple technologies to the extent you are able to identify communications and / or knowledge articles that needed to enable success
• Strong analytical skills in order to understand and collaborate with various technical teams
• Able to effectively manage multiple deliverables and priorities to meet deadlines
• Passion for being organized and detail oriented
• Ability to adapt quickly to business needs and demands of a high growth company

Education

• Bachelor's Degree
• Or an additional 3+ years experience working in a related field

The base salary hiring range for this position is $54,700 to $93,500. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
