Job Title: Technical Writer/Document Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 MonthsJob Responsibilities:- Contribute to an innovative initiative focused on the development and production of cutting-edge autonomous delivery robots.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and fleet operators to author, refine, maintain, and enhance various technical documents.
- These documents encompass technical system overviews, functional specifications, module and system build (or upfit), and test procedures, as well as operational protocols, knowledge base articles, and tutorials.
- Partner closely with technical program managers to ensure timely creation and release of essential documentation across different phases of product development and program execution.
- Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive document release plan to support product scalability, working in tandem with technical program managers.
- Navigate seamlessly within a cross-functional team environment, engaging with stakeholders from manufacturing, program management, mechanical and electrical design engineering, fleet operations, and logistics.
Key Qualification:- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer or document specialist within industries such as automotive, automation, robotics, semiconductor equipment, or related fields.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle or robotics terminology, such as AV sensors, control system and electrical elements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the proven ability to effectively convey technical concepts and instructions.
- Keen attention to detail and adeptness at operating in dynamic work environments, where priorities and requirements may shift rapidly.
- Proficiency in grasping the fundamentals of electromechanical systems, enhancing your ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical information.
- Preferably, exposure to high-volume manufacturing environments.
