Technician

Description

Environmental Products Group, a leading dealer in the southeast for the municipal equipment industry, is looking for a Technician/Mechanic. We are the VACTOR and ELGIN dealer seeking a technician/mechanic experience in heavy trucks, refuse trucks, and equipment repairs. This individual should be self-motivated and dedicated, with skills tailored toward multitasking, communication and attention to detail.

Technicians will perform new vehicle pre-delivery and DOT inspections, hydraulic and pneumatic service and repairs, PTO and transfer case service and repairs, interface with truck and body CANBUS for diagnosis and service.

You must be motivated, reliable and have a strong sense of quality workmanship. You will also be responsible for:

• Customer relations
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose.
• Welding, cutting and light fabrication.
• Ability to be a Team Player and work on your own.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Apopka, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
