As a technician you are responsible to perform daily scheduled jobs including Basic System Maintenances, Extended Service Plans, replacement fabric installations, system installations and other general repairs and installation of automatic pool cover systems. You are expected to be punctual, reliable, willing to learn, maintain a positive attitude, keep up with our fast paced environment, and be dedicated to the goals of our company.

• Perform all components of Basic System Maintenances and Extended Service Plans
• Recognize parts that are worn and need replacement
• Replace ropes, pulleys, sliders and guide feeds on all systems
• Adjust opening/closing (alignment) of all systems
• Able to change fluid on hydraulic systems
• Able to repair/troubleshoot problems on all systems
• Able to change out cones on all systems
• Able to perform sewing repairs on all systems with sewing awl and sewing machine
• Able to troubleshoot electrical problems on all systems
• Able to install Underguide Cover Systems with standard aluminum, flat aluminum, and stone lids
• Able to install a recessed top guide cover system with standard tracks and flat lid
• Able to install deck mount cover system without a bench
• Able to install a replacement cover with or without a guide conversion package in under 4 hours
• Able to install Underguide track with or without water in pool
• Able to report the details of all work performed at each jobsite by making the correct notes in the service order in the PavinTheWay software, adding the correct parts to the work order, entering the time arrived and time completed, attaching pictures and pre-site measurements.
• Be available for Saturday and Holiday On-Call Status on a rotational basis
• Arrive to warehouse within the designated time frame
• Maintain a high level or professionalism during customer interactions
• Be committed to and focus on performing all work in a quality manner

• Basic knowledge and use of tools
• Has worked as a technician’s assistant and has proven ability to work at a higher level
• Ability to follow direction of Area leader and work with an Assistant
• Good physical condition and strength and able to lift 50 pounds
• A valid Driver's License and a good standing driving history
• Must be able and willing to work 10+ hour days, Monday through Friday
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use/learn to use a smartphone or tablet device to report on jobs
