This Technician III position is part of the HPLC team in the Tubes 'N Formulated Research Products value stream located in Coralville, Iowa and work is performed onsite. Shift: Successful candidate’s existing shift

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

·         Purifies oligos by traditional and non-standard means as necessary for purification success. Adapts to new customer driven processes to facilitate training of processes to other associates within Value Stream

·         Performs post-synthesis attachments using click chemistry and adenylations. Consumes materials out of an ERP system. Performs secondary validations on difficult mod combinations

·         Assists in the training of new associates in the Value Stream.

The essential requirements of the job include:

·         An associate degree in a science-related field or at least 18 months of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Some laboratories experience

·         Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

·         A bachelor’s degree

·         Life Science work experience

·         Ability to perform and transition through a variety of tasks with concurrent deadlines daily with urgency and efficiency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
