Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform filling and support production activities
  
  
  
  
  • Operate relevant department equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements
  
  
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained
  
  
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  
  • Maintain an environment of continuous improvement
  
  
  
  


• Complete all associated documentation in compliance with requirements


• Conduct Documentation Review


• Demonstrate a firm understanding of aseptic technique and serve as a trainer and mentor to other technicians


• Demonstrate strong foundation of mechanical knowledge and interface with the maintenance department for resolving equipment issues


• Perform inventory transactions


• Review and close batch tickets


• Monitor Key Performance Indicators to strive for improved performance


• Provide leadership to team mates, supporting the area supervisor


• Communicate process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor.


• Escalate events and concerns to supervisor


• Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the company Values in all work related activities


• In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of related experience -OR- B.S. degree from an accredited institution, plus three (3) years of relevant experience


• B.S. Biology or related field and four (4) years related experience preferred


• Experience in Pharma/Bio cGMP preferred


• Basic computer skills - Excel, Word


• Demonstrated team player


• Effective verbal and written communication skills


• Basic math skills


• Strong mechanical skills, experience operating automated equipment, and mechanical troubleshooting skills


• cGMP manufacturing knowledge


• Aseptic filling knowledge


• Product lifecycle knowledge and risks
