Job Title: Technician, Laboratory
Reports To: Manager, Production
Position Location: North Charleston, SC; Raleigh, NC, Franklin, MA, Metuchen, NJ, or Buffalo, NY
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will assist across various areas in the lab. The Lab Tech will gain exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions in a laboratory environment.
Roles / Responsibilities:
+ Assist in filling and packaging of products, which may include automated instruments.
+ Proper and detailed labeling of products.
+ Work with Scientists and Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintenance.
+ Assist in washing, cleaning, and maintenance of reusable materials and/or instruments.
+ Perform periodic inventory on packaging materials and/or replacement parts.
+ Learn, perform proper handling of, and waste collection of Acids and Bases and other biohazards.
+ Contributes towards accurate production records, maintenance logs, inspections, temperature records, water systems,
+ Supports and complies with onsite safety program and notifies supervisor of any safety hazards.
+ Supports the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Antylia Quality Management System.
+ Other duties as assigned, including cross functionally across our small site.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
+ Pursuing a Life Science degree or equivalent industry experience and/or combo of education.
+ Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
+ Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and move supplies that may weigh up to 50lbs.
+ Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate to all levels of the organization clearly and concisely.
+ Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
