Schedule: Full-Time Evening Shift -(3:00pm to 11:30pm)/ With Weekend rotation)

Department Supported: Facilities and Maintenance
Primary Responsibilities:
Operates, repairs, documents and performs preventive maintenance needs of the powerhouse electro/mechanical systems within the facility. Operates stationary engines and mechanical equipment, which may include steam boilers, generators, steam turbines, air conditioners, distillers, water softeners and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services. Observes meters and gauges to determine operating conditions of equipment and to regulate flow of water, fuel, steam pressure and oxygen in accordance with needs and safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned.
General maintenance knowledge needed in plumbing, electrical, drywall patching and painting to be successful in this role.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires general knowledge of stationary engines, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Requires current knowledge of various federal; state; local; OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
• Requires the ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Preferred:
• Power Engineering Certification is preferred.
