Job Description:
The Shop Support Technician reports to the Shop Manager and is responsible for assisting with inventory, deliveries, and various warehousing duties.
Daily Job Tasks:
· Assist with Warehouse Inventory
· Deliver parts to field employees, at the jobsite (on occasion)
· Pick up parts from suppliers
· Assist in the warehouse as needed
· Help with cleanup around the shop and warehouse
· All other duties assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications:
· OSHA 10
· 2 years’ inventory management experience
· Forklift Certification
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid Nevada driver’s license
· Clean driving record with minimal moving violations
· Ability to represent SIERRA AIR INC. in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff, and the general public
· Organized and detail oriented
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to pass drug test/background screening
· Minimum one year experience operating a forklift
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Computer knowledge
Working Conditions:
Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions. Lifting up to 50lbs required. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift objects from the ground, climb a ladder, stand for an extended period of time, and sit at a desk, in front of a computer for an extended period of time
