Job Overview
The City of Phoenix is seeking a Technology Operations Coordinator to join the Water Services Application Team during an upcoming asset management upgrade. This role focuses on supporting IT operations, analyzing project metrics, and assisting in the successful transition of business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to identify bottlenecks, unmet business needs, and opportunities for improvement during the upgrade project.
- Support the monitoring of KPIs and leverage data insights to guide IT team leads.
- Assist in translating business requirements into actionable tasks for IT teams.
- Prepare handoff documentation for technology resources.
- Provide administrative and operational support to IT staff.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data collection, organization, and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator capable of bridging business and technical teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn new tools and processes.
