Job Summary

Performs any duties necessary to maintain sports fields.

What you will do

• Performs work order requests involving the care of sports fields including: mowing and trimming of the fields, fence lines, and any area or building attached to those facilities.


• Aerates, fertilizes and/or seeds fields.


• Hauls and distributes sand to fields.


• Installs bumper blocks, patches and/or fills potholes. Places asphalt will be a side part of these duties.


• Hauls and places gravel for walkways.


• Completes work schedule in a timely manner.


• Maintains the assigned equipment in first class operational condition.


• Handles any related duties in conjunction with maintaining sports fields.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience Qualifications

• Minimum of two years applicable experience Required

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to operate tractors, mowers, and other construction equipment preferred
