Telecom/Fiber Engineering Manager

Our International Team consists of over 100 professionals delivering best quality solutions for our customers.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive the development of our products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and leading engineering teams, and a deep understanding of project planning methodologies and techniques.Responsibilities:Recruit, manage, and grow the Moldova Engineering team;Supervising and ensuring qualitative execution of projects within deadlines;Lead the transition/implementation of our engineering model from strategic partnership to self-perform (develop the plan);Project status reporting (e.g., current status and estimated delivery time, identification of potential risks, suggestions for overcoming them, etc.);Engineering Production team management: overseeing delivery quality, ensuring continuous training of each team member; execution of the performance evaluation cycle;Manage the FTTH Design Engineering team production and output to meet customer deadlines of fiber engineering designsRequirementsKnowledge of English is strongly preferred;Degree in Telecommunications Engineering is preferred;Knowledge of FTTH design is preferred;Knowledge of Auto-Design, GIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, engineering related software is preferred;Knowledge of IQGeo, Comsof, ARMIS, Arc is an added benefit;Understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques;Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and markets, communicate effectively, and respond timely to customer requests;Project management experience;Experience in the construction industry or telecommunications engineering;Extensive knowledge of telecommunications systems, engineering, authorization and construction methods;Development of engineering telecommunications systems as an expertBenefitsCompetitive salary package;Being part of a international, dynamic work environment;Professional development (seminars, courses);Extended medical insurance;Paid time off (PTO) such as sick days and vacation days
