BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer (Senior), for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
The Telecommunications Engineer (Senior) Must be capable of planning, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of operations support systems used by telecommunications organizations. Must be capable of performing business systems planning, information planning, and analysis in support of telecommunications support functions, including billing, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and/or configuration management. Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools. Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in
Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Specialized Experience:
- At least two (2) years of experience in functional and data requirement analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design of billing, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and/or configuration management systems supporting operations of large telecommunications support organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have five (5) years of experience in engineering, systems analysis, design and programming.
