As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and supporting patient care. Your responsibilities will include interpreting EKGs, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team. EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from High School or equivalent.
Completion of an EKG Interpretation course.
Minimum 6 months of recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Demonstrated skill in EKG interpretation.
Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge.
This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
For Per Diem, Min. one (1) year of experience as a Telemetry Technician
Experience in medical telemetry setting.
1 year or above recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience.
Knowledge and experience working with Philips, GE and/ or Masimo physiological monitors
