- Support and facilitate SWAC Force Design analytic efforts, testing and improving software for cognitive assessment and constructive analysis.
- Evaluate, modify, and test models in SPySE and other software tools.
- Collaborate with fellow industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver the best-informed models.
- Improve user interfaces for operators, and communicate TT&C and satellite control requirements to inform satellite tasking.
- Take results from analytic efforts and create written and presentation products.
- Build products using Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have overall min 9 years of experience, with a BS degree; will consider education instead of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in space and ground data networks, satellite control, and TT&C.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum, advanced degree preferred, in space-relevant engineering or science field (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Communications, Physics, etc.).
- Experience in / background in orbital mechanics and space control.
- Ability to use modeling and simulation to analyze and inform force design metrics.
- Familiarity with the use of native cloud solutions such as Azure, etc.
- Ability to self-identify and execute work tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply analytic problem-solving skills to operational and strategic-level problems, accurately translate technical information for leadership, and establish partnering relationships and coordinate across external organizations.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph.
- Must meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access.
- Travel is 10%.
Target salary range: $160,000 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. We offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
