Description

Position Overview: A Teller performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. This role provides prompt, efficient, accurate, and courteous service to all.

What You Will Do:

•  Consistently identify and promote relevant products and services to meet member needs
•  Complete all opening, closing, and balancing procedures
•  Perform routine and advanced branch transactions (cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, balance inquiries, etc.)
•  Enhance member experience by assessing member needs and promptly assisting when appropriate
•  Demonstrate conflict management practices when dealing with escalated members
•  Deliver profound and individualized member experiences

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

•  High School Diploma or GED required
•  Previous cash handling experience preferred
•  Working knowledge of account structure and ownership
•  Experience with sales and promotional strategies
•  Basic knowledge of banking terminology

•  Branch Manager

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
