Description

Job Summary 

To provide a variety of customer service functions involving the receipt and payment of cash, checks, and other negotiable items.

Job Responsibilities

• Process deposits, savings withdrawals and transfer funds.
• Cash checks following established policies and procedures.
• Balance vault cash, prepare incoming and outgoing cash shipments as necessary
• Balance and maintain security of cash drawer daily.
• Process loan payments, credit card cash advances, and TTL payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting the customer in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Handle routine customer inquiries and problems.
• Ensure customer needs are met within the branch.
• Monitor and update account records.
• Help complete wire requests
• Work closely with branch personnel to ensure compliance with regulations and policies are upheld.
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist with branch audits
• Job may require other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent and one to three years banking experience preferred.
• One to three years of customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of all retail products and services.
• In-depth knowledge of computers and banking software.

Work Environment

• General office conditions
• Must be able to work effectively at a computer for extended periods of time
• Regular attendance is necessary
